Naturalist-Guided Hikes
When: Naturalist-guided hikes through the Sanctuary are scheduled regularly from mid-May through mid-October. No preregistration is required. In May, hikes are generally scheduled at 1:30PM on May 16, 21, 28 and 30. From June through August, hikes will be given at 1:30PM on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and at 9:30AM on Saturday. Check our calendar for last-minute changes.

Cost: Free for Ridges members, $5 per adult for non-members (free for children under 18)

Where: Hikes begin at the Ridges Nature Center, 8288 Hwy Q, Baileys Harbor (map).

Note: Guided hikes can be arranged for groups at any time of the year. Please contact the Sanctuary for information.
33rd Annual Midwest Crane Count
Join a hardy group of early risers to help inventory sandhill cranes in Door County. Inventory sites are located throughout Door County.

When: Saturday, April 19, 2008, 5:30AM – 7:30AM

"Welcome the Warblers" Spring Bird Outing
Both beginning and experienced birders are welcome!

When: Saturday, May 10, 6:30AM

Cost: Free for Ridges members, donations accepted for non-members.

Where: Meet at the Ridges Nature Center, 8288 Hwy Q (map), and carpool to avian hotspots around Baileys Harbor.
Logan Creek Wildflower Walks
Woodland wildflowers, including hepatica, trout lily, spring beauty and trillium, will be the focus of guided hikes through the Ridges' Logan Creek Property.

When: Saturday, May 10, 10AM. and 1PM

Cost: $5 per person (free for children under 18)

Where: Meet at the Logan Creek parking lot, 5724 Loritz Road, south of Jacksonport (map).

Note: If possible, please call the Ridges office at 920-839-2802 to preregister for either the morning or afternoon hike.
Discovery Bird Hikes
Both beginning and experienced birders welcome.

When: Saturdays in June and July, 6:30AM

Cost: Free to Ridges members, donations accepted for non-members

Where: Meet at the Ridges' Nature Center (map) and plan to carpool to various avian hotspots around Baileys Harbor.
