The Ridges Sanctuary, in partnership with UW-Green Bay and others, was awarded grant funding through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Aquatic Invasive Species Control grant program. The grant application will included treatment of Phragmites australis, a highly aggressive, invasive plant, identified on The Ridges properties, UW-Green Bay’s Toft Point and neighboring privately owned shoreline properties.
