Scientific Illustration at The Ridges – September
Be a part of The Ridges’ NEW Scientific Illustration Program: perfect for the beginner illustrator, expert or someone who just wants to learn a little bit more about our natural world. Students can sign up for one day or multiple sessions. Participants will be responsible for bringing a sketch book, in order to create one’s own portfolio which can be used from one class to the next. Register for this exciting program and meet the instructors HERE.
All About Pollinators – October 7 & 8
Pollinators of all kinds need our help to protect them. Special places like The Ridges are dependent on pollinators to sustain ecosystems and maintain food production. Join us for a full weekend of celebrating and learning about bees, moths & butterflies! View weekend schedule HERE.
Guided Hikes – September & October
The best way to see The Ridges is to join one of our naturalists on a two-hour guided hike. Sanctuary hikes are held daily, while guided hikes at Logan Creek or Appel’s Bluff are held once a month. View our upcoming hike schedule HERE.
