Don’t miss the fall blooms in the meadow at Appel’s Bluff—various Gentians, Kalm’s Lobelia, Indian Paintbrush, Ladies Tresses orchids, and more!! We’ll find and ID the flowers in the meadow and finish the afternoon with a hike through Appel’s Bluff preserve looking for more special flowers.  Hike is a leisurely 2 miles.  There might be standing water and mud.  Wear shoes appropriate for hiking.
