August 10^th: Amazing Adaptations! Learn about the animals and plants that have unique qualities to help them survive. Whether it is to help them live in a certain environment, catch prey, or avoid predators, we will learn all about what makes the plants and animals at The Ridges special.

August 17^th: Insects! Kids will go out in the meadow to try their hand at catching insects with a provided net and bug jar. We will learn about the parts of the insect and some of the unique life cycles of insects here at The Ridges.

August 24^th: Nature Art! Kids will use their creativity as we embark on a journey to look for and create beautiful works of art at The Ridges! We will create mosaics on the forest floor, mud faces in trees, paint with brushes we make from things we find in the forest and much more!
