Enjoy the beauty of the many Spring ephemeral blooms on this leisurely 2-hour hike. We’ll spend time identifying and learning about the flowers and then finish with a hike along the trails to view Clark Lake. Meets at Logan Creek. Natural Resource Foundation Event: Twilight inspires a frog chorus at The Ridges Sanctuary! After a short indoor program to learn about Door County frogs, their life cycles, adaptations and sounds, we will hike into The Ridges to listen for frogs. Appropriate for ages 8 & older. Spend time outdoors while supporting the Ridges! Our volunteer spring workday is open to volunteers of all abilities, ages, and skill sets. Typical tasks include cleaning up around the Nature Center, reorganizing storage space, preparing the front perennial gardens, and a variety of other tasks.
