Sanctuary Guided Hikes
Winter Guided Hikes: offered every Friday at 1:30 PM and Saturday at 10:30 am and 1:30 PM through March.
Join a Ridges Naturalist for an exploration of the Sanctuary in the winter. We will head out on the trails to learn all about the Sanctuary, explore some winter adaptations, search for animal tracks, and more! If conditions allow, we will utilize snowshoes for our hike. You can rent snowshoes from our nature store for $5 per pair.
Fee: Public $10, Member $7, 16 & Under Free
Sanctuary Guided Hikes: offered beginning May 1st, 2024 every week, Monday - Saturday at 10:00 AM May - August.
We’ll head out on the trails to learn about the history of The Ridges, the unique features of the sanctuary habitats, and what makes the sanctuary the most biologically diverse area in Wisconsin! This two hour guided hike includes a tour of our Upper Range Light, which has been restored to the period of the last Range Light Keeper. Suitable for all ages.

Early Bird Hikes: Saturdays in May and June 6:30 AM | Meets at the Cabins at The Ridges, 8288 County Road Q
Spring Wildflower Hikes at Logan Creek: Friday, May 10th and Saturday, May 18th 1-3PM | Meets at the Logan Creek Trailhead in Jacksonport, 5724 Loritz Road.
Logan Creek Guided Hikes: Wednesdays June 5, July 3, August 7, 1-3PM | Meets at the Logan Creek Trailhead in Jacksonport, 5724 Loritz Road
Appel's Bluff Guided Hike: Wednesdays June 19, July 17, August 21, 1-3PM | Meets at the Cook-Albert Fuller Nature Center
