Natural Christmas

2022 Theme : Winter Wonderland

Join us for an afternoon of festivities

Saturday, December 10th, from 3-6PM.

You deserve to spend a few hours this holiday season surrounded by the natural beauty of The Ridges Sanctuary. Stroll down the softly lit Hidden Brook Boardwalk and join us in our beautifully decorated Kaye Cabin, while sipping on warm cider, eating delicious cookies and listening to holiday music. This program offers a wreath-making workshop, holiday crafts, and even marshmallows and chestnuts around the open fire. Guided hikes and tours of the Range Light are available throughout the event.
Natural Christmas is free, with the exception of the optional wreath making workshop that happens during the event. Wreath making costs $25 per wreath and includes enough materials for one beautifully decorated wreath!
Natural Christmas is made possible thanks to our incredible volunteers Jane Whitney, Julie Knox and their team of holiday elves. Every year, they spend hundreds of hours planning for and creating the magical experience that is Natural Christmas. This year, to honor them, we are seeking sponsors for this year's events. Cream Puffs $50

Now, we know what you're thinking, "cream puffs?????". But let us explain. Sometimes we feel like Natural Christmas isn't possible without cream puffs. Jane and Julie spend hundreds of hours preparing for and creating the magic that is Natural Christmas and it is mainly fueled by cream puffs ;). Whether these Natural Christmas elves are out in the field collecting materials, or in the cabins creating the magic, there is always a break for the perfect picnic lunch that ALWAYS includes cream puffs. So essentially, cream puffs are synonymous for Natural Christmas.
