History of Door County Maple Syrup

April 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Did the Native Americans harvest maple syrup differently than we do today? Are there modern techniques that are benefiting the maple syrup industry? Is the maple syrup industry sensitive to the changing climate? Join Steve Jorns as he walks us through the culture, history and nature behind maple syrup in Door County. Steve comes to us with years of experience and many more years of family history rooted in the maple syrup industry.
