Board

Linda Brooks has a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology and an MS in biology education from the University of Illinois.  Her work experience includes 16 years at the American Hospital Association and 10 years as an adjunct professor at a community college teaching introductory biological science courses.

 

Linda was elected board president in 2020 and is in the first year of her second 3-year term on the board.


 

Cynthia Crock is a graduate of Iowa State University and holds a MBA from the University of Iowa.  Her work experience includes supervision, marketing and development, and sales at Northwestern Bell, the Weyerhaeuser Company and the YMCA in Sturgeon Bay.  She continues to be active in her church and the Northern Door Rotary Club.

 

Cynthia is the chair of the Development Committee and is serving the second year of her second 3 year term on the board.


 

Rob Davis is a graduate of Lawrence University and received his MBA degree in finance from Washington University. His work experience includes commercial real estate development, managing the textbook division of a publishing  company, and bookkeeping and payroll administration.  His family has a long and rich history in the Ephraim area.

 

Rob is the chair of the Finance Committee and will end his second term on the board in August 2021.


 

Chuck Dull graduated from Concordia University with graduate studies in organizational behavior and business management at the University of Nebraska.  He held executive positions in non-profit foundations, led product development and strategic planning at Fortune 500 companies and served as CEO of the Hong Kong International School.

 

Chuck is a member of the Development Committee and is serving the second year of his first 3-year term.


 

Andy Gill has degrees in political science and international studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.  He was the Executive Director of Pease Park Conservancy in Austin, Texas before moving to Door County.  He and his wife operate the Heirloom Café & Provisions in Baileys Harbor and he is on the boards of the Baileys Harbor Community Association and Horseshoe Bay Farms, Inc.

 

Andy is in his first year of serving on the board.


 

Jeff Lutsey has a degree in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University and worked in the aerospace propulsion program at Honeywell for 12 years. He moved to Door County to join his family operation at Waseda Farms, where he focuses on farm business optimization, education, and outreach, bringing solar power to the farm, and developing relationships between the farm and local restaurants and grocery stores.

 

Jeff is in his first year of serving on the board.


 

Sandy Miller has a BS degree in chemistry and biology from Carroll University.  She worked for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for 35 years in the air and waste division, doing regulatory compliance, laboratory and quality control work, and policy and rule development.  She is currently working on the Baileys Harbor upper range light restoration project.

 

Sandy is the board secretary and a member of the Governance Committee.  She is serving the first year of her second 3 year term on the board.


 

Grace Rossman is a native of Door Co., and studied journalism at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.  She opened several restaurants, a bakery and a catering business in Iowa before coming back home.  She was a Certified Financial Planner for 29 years, representing Thrivent Financial in Sturgeon Bay and currently serves on a number of local organization boards.

 

Grace is a member of the Finance Committee and was appointed to the board in 2020 to complete the term of a resigning director that ends in August 2021.


 

Bill Wolff received degrees from Northwestern University and Miami University of Ohio.  He was a physical education teacher and swimming coach in the northern suburbs of Chicago for 40 years. Bill is a front desk volunteer, hike leader and member of the Wednesday crew.

 

Bill served on the board from 2013 to 2019.  He is a member of the Governance Committee and was appointed to the board in January 2021 to complete the term of a resigning director that ends in August 2022.


 

Cindy Wolter has a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois - Urbana and her MBA from Northwestern University.  She was the Director of Merchandise Operations and Planning for catalog retailer, Spiegel, Inc. and the Director of Research for Product Dynamics.

 

Cindy is the treasurer and a member of the Finance Committee.  She is serving the last year of her first 3-year term.


 

Dave Zuhlke studied geology and cartography at the University of Wisconsin -Whitewater. He was a cartographer, analyst, and project leader at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency in St. Louis, Missouri. Dave is a member of the Wednesday crew.

 

Dave is the vice president of the board and the chair of the Governance Committee.  He is serving the second year of his first 3-year term.
