Spring Workday
Spend time outdoors while supporting the Ridges! Our volunteer spring workday is open to volunteers of all abilities, ages, and skill sets. Typical tasks include cleaning up around the Nature Center, reorganizing storage space, preparing the front perennial gardens, and a variety of other tasks. The workday will begin Saturday, May 11th at 9:00AM and end with a lunch at 12PM. Enjoy a chance to experience firsthand what Aldo Leopold described as the “sky dance.” After a short indoor presentation to learn about woodcocks, head into the field to watch them engage in their ethereal courtship display.
